What is the Toefl iBT test?
Since its introduction in late 2005, the TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) format has progressively replaced the computer-based tests (CBT) and paper-based tests (PBT), although paper-based testing is still used in select areas.
What do you mean by Toefl iBT?
TOEFL iBT is Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based Test. The iBT version of the TOEFL test is scored on a scale of 0 to 120 points. Each of the four sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing) receives a scaled score from 0 to 30.
How long does it take for Toefl iBT?
The TOEFL IBT test takes about 4 hours to complete. At minimum, the TOEFL IBT will last 3 hours and 10 minutes. At maximum, it will take 4 hours and 20 minutes. The length varies because the Reading section can take from 60 to 100 minutes, and the Listening section ranges from 60 to 90 minutes.
